Silent Flocks- Chapter 3: A Secret in the Archives
It was the third day since Lambert’s imprisonment and Jhula was taking a short break in the archives. No one but her was present (which was no surprise since most of the temple was more focused on warfare than academics), so she was free to take breaks whenever she wished for it. And on this day she needed a few more. She had difficulty getting up from her bed, having exhausted herself from crying back to sleep. Still, the cruel words of those new monsters haunted her, making it an amazing feat that she had gotten any more rest after that awful nightmare. Hence, the reason why she was drawing a specimen during her break. So that she could add it to her secret bestiary. A bit of a therapy session, she figured. Whenever she had nothing to do, Jhula either took to drawing, going outside and doing her exercises in private, or reading. She didn’t feel like continuing the medical book that she was reading days ago nor did she want to pick out something else. She was too tired to exercise
